I’m TJ The Doer. Before software, I was a professional DJ. I was a first-generation college graduate raised in a single-parent household, and I spent years working in higher education.
I sat in rooms full of teachers, counselors, administrators, and mentors who knew genuinely useful things. What limited them wasn’t knowledge — it was time, location, job structure, and how many people they could personally reach.
Entrepreneurship put more problems in front of me. Eventually I started using modern AI tools to build systems and applications around the problems I actually understood, including an application for my real-estate business — without being a traditional developer.
DOERS Build Apps exists to help other everyday DOERS notice what they already know and turn it into something useful.
Technology should extend the value you already create.
Not replace your work, not require you to quit anything, and not turn you into a software engineer first.
